Counseling & PsychotherapY(tele-health & in-person)

For individuals, couples, and families navigating neurocognitive diagnoses, relational fractures, or primary caregiver stressors.

  • Family Systems Therapy
Grounded in Bowenian and Structural Family Therapy models, this approach helps families understand and shift long-standing emotional patterns, fostering healthier dynamics and resilience.

  • Caregiver-Centered Therapy
Focused support for primary caregivers of individuals living with bvFTD, dementia, or chronic mental illness. Sessions explore grief, compassion fatigue, and restoring emotional balance.

  • Neurocognitive-Aware Counseling
Clinical care attuned to the unique emotional and behavioral symptoms that emerge in the context of dementia and cognitive decline—including apathy, disinhibition, and emotional detachment.

  • Sexuality & Relational Health Counseling

Support for individuals, couples, and families navigating sexuality-related concerns, shame, intimacy disruptions, relational distress, sexual trauma, compulsive sexual behaviors, image-based harm, and culturally sensitive or stigmatized experiences. This work is approached through a trauma-informed, multicultural, and systems-aware lens that centers emotional safety, client agency, and relational repair.

Note: Counseling & psychotherapy services are provided under clinical supervision as Shabana completes pre-master’s clinical training and pursues future LMFT, LCMHT and LPC licensure eligibility in Wisconsin until Fall 2027.
